When Aang and his friends go to a Fire Nation town so that Aang can witness some firebending, their plan soon goes awry when it’s discovered that he is the Avatar. Fortunately, he’s rescued by an individual who serves a firebending master named Jeong Jeong who has abandoned the Fire Nation, so Aang attempts to use this time to attempt to learn how to firebend.
However, when the firebending master refuses to even see Aang, will Aang be able to prove he’s ready to learn how to firebend despite the fact that he lacks discipline? Aang feels neglected as Katara and Sokka reunite with Bato, an old friend of their father's from the South Pole. They begin to reminisce on their times in the past while they wait for a message to arrive from their father; in which Aang believes Katara and Sokka will abandon him and go out to find their father should the message arrive.
However, when the messenger gives Aang the message to give to Bato, Aang betrays his friends in a way Katara or Sokka could never imagine. However, when Zuko recruits a bounty hunter named June to track Aang down. His friendship is put to the test, as he must deal with the fact that he betrayed his friends while defending himself from yet another fight. When the group tries to help a man who is being attacked by a platypus-bear, they discover that the local town has a fortuneteller named Aunt Wu in it, who has been forecasting the town's fate for years, but when Sokka and Aang discover one of the fortuneteller's most vital predictions is dead wrong, they have to develop a plan to convince the stubborn townspeople that their beloved Aunt Wu was wrong. Will they manage to save the village in time, or will Aang fail in his duty as the avatar?

Aang, Katara and Sokka have run out of money. Katara suggests Sokka get a job, and coincidentally, they meet a fisherman who is looking for someone to help him out with his fishing. But when the fisherman recognizes Aang as the Avatar, he blames Aang's absence for all of the troubles of the last 100 years, and Aang runs away on his glider. Katara follows on Appa, and when she finds him, Aang begins to reveal life before he was frozen in the iceberg. Meanwhile, Prince Zuko and Lieutenant Jee get into a fight, but Iroh breaks it up.
Soon thereafter, the Lieutenant and the rest of the crew gain a newfound respect for their leader after learning of his past. While on their way to the North Pole, Aang and his friends arrive at a giant canyon where two groups of refugees are bickering over who should get to go across. Aang decides to walk across with the two groups to ensure they don’t fight one another. However, he soon learns that the two tribes have been feuding for one hundred years and they both believe their actions are justified.
But when the predators inside the canyon start to come out, Aang is stuck trying to defend both tribes from each other and the vicious wildlife. When Aang is assigned to help defend a town from a monster that has been plaguing the town, his lack of ability and knowledge becomes obvious, as he doesn't know what to do. However, when Sokka tries to rush to Aang's rescue during the fight, he himself becomes captured and is taken away by the monster, which turns out to be from the spirit world. Aang promises Katara that he'll find Sokka and bring him back, but with Aang even doubting himself, will he be capable of finding where the monster went? When the group arrives at a small Earth Kingdom mining town, they see an earthbender, named Haru, who is practicing his ability, but he runs away when Katara tries to confront him about it. They soon learn that the Fire Nation has taken over the town, that earthbending is forbidden and all earthbenders are taken away to an offshore prison. However, when an elderly man is trapped in a collapsed mine, Katara urges Haru to use his powers to save the man's life, but then, the old man reports Haru to the authorities.
Katara blames herself for his predicament and she vows to rescue him, but will she succeed? As one of Aang's little detours, the group heads toward the island of Kyoshi. But soon they learn that the townspeople don't trust foreigners at all; however, when Aang proves to them that he is the Avatar they are treated as guests of honor.
Katara wants to get some supplies and leave as soon as possible, while Aang is enjoying his time as a celebrity. Little do they know, though, that the Fire Nation has tracked them down. Also, Sokka meets and trains with a female warrior named Suki. Will Aang be able to save the village from the wrath of the Fire Nation?
When a young waterbender, named Katara, and her brother, Sokka, discover a giant iceberg while fishing for food around their homestead at the South Pole, they discover that there is a boy, named Aang, inside. Aang, they discover, is an airbender, (a group of people which were thought to be extinct).
However, after a string of unfortunate events which puts the village in harm's way, they soon learn that there is more to him than meets the eye. Will Aang prove his hidden abilities, or will he be thought as just a child?

The Legend of Korra In the follow-up to The Last Airbender, the newest Avatar from the Southern Water Tribe is Korra, a hot-headed young woman whose combat mastery doesn’t quite overcompensate for her lack of connection to the Spirit Realm, a necessary aspect of being the Avatar. Korra was sheltered for much of her life and emerges into an industrialized world very different from the one that Aang adventured through with his companions. In Legend of Korra, the title character has to learn how to foster peace in an industrialized world that comes to revere technology and innovation more than it does the power of benders and the Avatar. Whereas The Last Airbender could be immature at times and more fun-loving as Aang essentially matures into a fully-fledged Avatar, The Legend of Korra is less world-wandering and more political and mature in its scope while being so much more focused on how the Spirit Realm relates to the human world. While The Last Avatar might have a wider, more lasting appeal, The Legend of Korra is a solid animated adventure in its own right with a tone and aesthetic that’s just different enough while also expanding the same universe. ThunderCats (1985) “‘Thundercats Ho!” Largely considered a classic American animated series, ThunderCats chronicles the adventures of catlike humanoid aliens that flee their dying planet to find refuge on Third Earth. There’s Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, WilyKit, WilyKat, and Snarf. During their time on Third Earth they battle their long-time foes, the Mutants of Plun-Darr, and the demonic, mummified sorcerer known as Mumm-Ra. ThunderCats is a silly, campy mess of a show that definitely shows its age, but it holds up as an early, ambitious animated series. Available on.
Trigun In this dramedy Western, Vash the Stampede is a mythic figure with with a $$60,000,000,000 bounty on his head, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to play nice and make friends wherever he can, toting the phrase “Love and peace!” as often as possible. Initially, Vash is an enigma, but over time you begin to see a darker personal history unfold. Think David Tennant or Matt Smith’s version of the Doctor on Doctor Who but in a spaghetti Western. He’s got a veneer of silliness hiding personal trauma and against his wishes and intentions, he’s forced to engage in plenty of duels and gunfights. Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul is shaping up to be the “next big thing” in anime with a due out July 2017 in Japan.
Quiet youngster Ken Kaneki is unassuming at best, but he’s exposed to a society that’s alien to him after a terrible accident when his date tries to devour him. “Ghouls” are monstrous cannibals that can pass as humans but have hidden predatory organs to help them maul and devour humans. After a devastating accident and failed attempt at making him a bit of prey, Kaneki himself is transformed into the very thing that terrifies him most: a Ghoul. In this dark story, Kaneki plunges into the Ghoul subculture while discovering his newfound powers and ferocious appetite. Available on.
